About the park

A simple place to stay near Mena

We’re a local project putting down roots in Polk County — not a big-box campground chain.

We’re building El Heffe RV Park with a pretty simple idea: a clean, comfortable place to stay without turning camping into something it isn’t.

Near Mena, Arkansas, El Heffe will offer RV sites and a relaxed home base for people visiting the area, riding the trails, exploring the Ouachitas, fishing, traveling through town, or getting away for a while.

We’re about a 10-minute drive from Wolf Pen Gap, and the park is planned as buggy-accessible — so you can ride your side-by-side from your site toward the trails without loading up and trailering it over.

We’re excited to call the Mena area home and look forward to becoming part of the local community.

Working target ~20–30 RV sites
Power goal 30/50 amp hookups
Property vibe Pond · lounge · wash
Access ATV / SxS friendly

Still taking shape

What’s coming on site

Working targets as the park comes together — not a final brochure yet.

  • RV sites

Straightforward pull-through and back-in sites with full hookups as the goal — clean pads, room to breathe, no circus atmosphere.

  • ATV / side-by-side friendly

Buggy-accessible stay near Wolf Pen Gap so you can keep the machines ready and ride toward the trails from here.

  • ATV wash area

A designated spot to hose off after a muddy day so your site (and the next rider’s) stays cleaner.

  • Fishing pond

A stocked pond planned on the property — cast a line between rides or while the kids unwind.

  • Hangout lounge

A casual common area to cool off, swap trail notes, and spend some time outside without packing the campsite.

  • Food truck pad

Space planned for visiting food trucks and local vendors on busy weekends — keep an eye on updates for who’s rolling in.

Plans and amenities are still being finalized and may change as development continues.

The vision

Sites, pond, wash & hangout — one property

This is our working concept for how El Heffe comes together. Real progress photos will replace this as soon as dirt starts moving.

The Ouachitas

Close to the trails, proud to be in Mena

Wolf Pen Gap

Ride out from the park

El Heffe sits within about a 10-minute drive of Wolf Pen Gap — the trail system people come to this part of the Ouachitas to ride.

Because the park is planned as buggy-accessible, you can keep the side-by-sides handy and head toward the trails from here instead of trailering over for every run.

Mena, Arkansas

A good place to call home

Between the mountains, trails, outdoor recreation, and local businesses, Mena made sense for El Heffe from day one.

We want the park to complement what’s already here — another place to stay that points people toward eating local, shopping local, and exploring Polk County.
